MICHIGAN 2004

Camporee Log

6th August 2004

 Days News

The crack-shot award goes to Chris with 5 out of 6 Birds hit in Shotgun shooting.

Owen capsizes his and Shwacks Canoe.

 Other Information

Our first activity on Friday was shooting sports. In this edition of shooting sports we shot Shotguns at clay birds, Air Rifles at paper targets (A feat that seemed rather pathetic compared to Shotguns!) and spent an hour firing arrows at various targets in Archery.

After shooting sports we moved onto Nature for lunch before splitting up. One group went on the Nature Trail while the others prepared another round of the Manx Broth for the International Festival Day. After dinner we took advantage of another free programme area before returning to our Sub-Camp for a campfire with everybody from the Erie Sub-Camp.

Chris and Patrick (Another of the crazy Canadians) were invited to participate in a Shotgun Shooting Competition. Overall Chris came 7th place with 13 out of 20 Birds hit.
