The day started pretty much as any other, early breakfast, long car drive. The difference today is that we were travelling to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Everybody was excited (especially the Leaders) and couldn't wait to get to grips with the rides that awaited.

On arrival the groups split up with a 14:00 check-in requested by the large ferrous wheel. Other than that it was a case of being free to pretty much whatever we wanted. Some of the photos will give you a pretty good idea just what that was!

Some of the group grabbed lunch in a diner within the park grounds. The bizarre thing being that half way through an order the music would be turned up and the waitresses would start dancing. Much to Mops confusion. Some crazy people (no names mentioned) decided to get involved too during the Village People classic - Y.M.C.A. Much to the delight and amusement of both customers and staff. :o)

The highlight of the parks attractions was the Top Thrill Dragster. Follow the Link for Info. This particular 2,800ft long bad-boy of a ride topped 420 feet high and accumulated speeds in excess of 120mph in less than four seconds. A real heart stopper!

We stayed in the park until 20:00 where a group photo (see below) was taken and we departed for a meal on the way home.
