Thursday was scheduled as a relaxing day, a day to catch up on any rest or do those last minute things leading up to the camporee. After a horrifically late start of 11:00 we visited the local Wal-Mart with the intention of getting any last minute items. We then proceeded to an area where we could spend the remainder of the afternoon swimming.

This place was kindly offered by a relative of one of our home stay hosts. It was called "The Pond" but was heading more for a small lake. It had a beach, Diving Board, Fountain, Even a Raft in the middle. The remainder of the contingent joined us later on and it turned out to be an impressive afternoon for  everybody involved.
