 Other Information

The day started at 06:30 for a 07:00 breakfast. The aim was for the groups to be packed, prepared and meet up for 08:00. Once the trailer and car was packed up we set off for Northwood's Reserve. Many people took this as an opportunity to catch up on some sleep and the rest took it as an ideal photo opportunity for use later on camp.

We were very reluctant to leave the home-stay environment owing to the hospitality extended to us by the families. Fortunately we will have the opportunity to spend some time with them again after the Jamboree before flying back to the UK.

On arrival at the Campsite we were escorted to Sub-Camp Iroquois our new home for the next week. The camps layout was odd compared to many others although this was probably owing to the numerous trees littering the site. Fortunately the tents were already erected leaving us with just the cooking and mess facilities to setup.

After settling down and cooking a meal we prepared and lit a modestly sized campfire and sat around it well into the later hours of the evening.
