Explorer Scout Raft Building - 2008
Tuesday the 1st of July saw two teams battle it out to the bitter end in the bitter cold manx waters of Douglas Harbour. Closely observed by the duty crew of the Isle of Man Coastguard (Mainly for the comedy aspect), the teams constructed their rafts in preparation for a race across the murky water. Success varied between the two teams, while others seemed determined with other interests.
The outcome? One high-speed raft, a submarine with captain Bungle at the helm and a freezing cold Bob!.
